Risk disclosure

Last updated 21 September 2026

BBA Trading is a private, simulated trading-evaluation environment under development. It is not live, holds no client funds and offers no real-money trading.

Trading is hard, most people who try it lose money, and a simulated pass is not evidence that you will be one of the exceptions. This page is not here to soften any of that.

Read this part even if you read nothing else. An evaluation fee buys an attempt, not an outcome. If you do not pass, the money is gone and you receive nothing for it. That is the only way anyone can lose money with us today, and it is a real way to lose money.

1. The short version

Everything BBA Trading does is simulated. No order reaches a market, no balance is real, and no money can be made or lost inside the evaluation itself.

There is still a risk worth stating, and it is the fee. When enrolment opens, the money paid for an evaluation is spent whether or not the evaluation is passed. Most people do not pass.

Nothing here is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is supervised by any regulator.

2. What you can actually lose here

Enrolment is not open, so today the answer is nothing — there is no checkout on this website and no payment can be taken through it.

When enrolment does open, the fee for an evaluation is a purchase, not a deposit. It is not held for you, it is not an investment, it is not insured by anyone, and it does not come back if the evaluation ends badly. You are paying for an attempt under published rules, and the attempt is what you get.

Treat it the way you would treat money spent on anything you cannot resell. If the amount would matter to your rent, your bills or your savings, it is too much — and repeating it after a failed attempt is how a modest cost becomes a large one.

3. Most people do not pass

Evaluations of this kind are failed far more often than they are passed. That is not a flaw in the design and it is not a secret: rules that are easy to satisfy would measure nothing.

Independent research into short-term and day trading consistently finds that most participants lose money and that lasting profitability is rare. A simulated evaluation is a narrower test than real trading, and passing one does not move you out of that population.

Anyone entering an evaluation should expect to fail it. If you would not enter on that assumption, do not enter on any other.

4. There is no funded account here, and no payout

Some businesses in this category offer a real-money account to people who pass. We do not. Passing an evaluation in the current environment produces a record entry, and nothing else: no money exists in this system and none can be sent.

Any reward described anywhere in this software is simulated. There is no payout, no withdrawal, no bank connection and no mechanism for any of them to exist.

If that ever changes it will be stated plainly, in advance, on this website — and it would require legal, accounting, payment and vendor review that has not happened. Until then, do not enter an evaluation expecting one.

5. Nobody regulates this

BBA Trading is not registered with any financial regulator and is not a member of any self-regulatory body. We are not a broker, not a dealer, not an exchange and not an investment adviser, and no authority has reviewed, approved or endorsed this software, these rules or this website.

Businesses in this category sometimes name a regulator that oversees an affiliate. We have no such affiliate and name none, because doing so would suggest a supervision that does not exist here.

The practical consequence is worth understanding: there is no regulator to complain to about us, no industry compensation scheme behind us, and no protection scheme covering anything you pay us. What you have is this document, the published rules, and whatever rights the ordinary law where you live gives you.

6. Simulated results are not real results

Simulated performance has inherent limitations that an actual trading record does not. Because the trades were never executed, the results may over- or under-state what would have happened, and they cannot reproduce market liquidity, slippage, execution delay, fees, financing, outages, or the effect an order has on the market it is placed into.

Simulation also removes the thing that decides most real outcomes: money actually being at stake. The ability to take a loss without abandoning a plan is a material part of trading, and no simulation can test it, because nothing is lost.

No representation is made that any account will achieve results similar to anything shown, and we guarantee no outcome of any kind.

7. If you go on to trade real money elsewhere

Nothing on this website is a route to a real market, and we are not introducing anyone to one. But people use simulated evaluations as practice for real trading, so the following is worth saying plainly.

  • Never risk money you cannot afford to lose entirely
  • Losses are not always limited to what is in the account — leveraged products can leave you owing more than you put in
  • Never fund trading with retirement savings, student loans, a second mortgage, an emergency fund, or money set aside for rent, education or living costs
  • Short-term trading can lose money faster than almost anything else you can legally do with it
  • No strategy, system or past run removes the possibility of loss

Whatever you learn here, understand and accept the risks of a real account before you open one — and do not treat a simulated pass as evidence that you should.

8. The part that is not about money

Repeated attempts at something that measures you are costly in ways a fee does not capture. Failing an evaluation and immediately paying for another is a common pattern, and it is driven by the money already spent rather than by any change in skill.

Chasing a loss, trading to recover a bad day, and treating an evaluation as a verdict on yourself are all ordinary and all harmful. If the software is affecting your sleep, your mood or your relationships, that is a reason to stop, and stopping is not a failure of nerve.

We would rather say this than sell you another attempt.

9. No testimonials, no track record, no proof

This website shows no trader testimonials, no payout totals, no funded-trader counts and no performance figures, because none exists. Nothing has been achieved here by anyone, and we will not invent something that has.

Where a figure does appear on this website it is a rule — a target, a limit, an account size — generated from the software that enforces it. It describes what the engine measures, never what anyone has done.

10. Nothing here is advice

Nothing on this website or in the evaluation environment is investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell anything, or a recommendation to trade any instrument. It is information about a piece of software. Use of it is at your own risk.

11. Changes to this disclosure

If this disclosure changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. If enrolment, payment or any real-money feature is ever added, this page will describe the risk of it before it is switched on.
